Hi, I’m Jen..

I’m a Scottish artist & maker with a particular love of sculpture & objects. I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in 2017 with a degree in Jewellery & Metalwork Design.

I am endlessly inspired by nature & the world around me. I love to make jewellery as well as small functional objects all with a little whimsical woodland charm.

I work in porcelain clay both hand sculpting & throwing. I love porcelain with it’s magical translucency and a beautiful bone white finish.

The clay goes through a two to three step process to transform it from soft clay to beautiful vitrified porcelain.

Each piece is fired first to almost 1000 degrees celsius before painting and glazing, then it’s fired a second time to over 1220 degrees.

I love to use beautiful iridescent & gold lustres in my work and those pieces are fired a third time to around 700 degrees.
